The Brooklyn Community Chorus (BCC), founded in September 2001 is a self governing, egalitarian organization, open to singers from diverse backgrounds, ages, and musical experiences. The BCC is dedicated to exploring a variety of musical styles; including classical, spiritual, motown, showtunes, doo-wop, jazz & pop - performed in both large group and smaller ensemble settings.

Under the direction of founder Marlene Clary, the BCC focuses on vocal and choral techniques, mastering the variety of musical styles, creating a sense of musical and group "harmony," and having "serious fun". Performances are held thrice a year at our home location and around the Brooklyn community.
